ACMCC

Aerosol Chemical Monitor Calibration Center

The ACMCC (Aerosol Chemical Monitor Calibration Center)  is formed by a consortium of French laboratories : CEA, CNRS (LSCE and LaMP) and INERIS. It is based at LSCE, about 25 km South of Paris.

The aim of the infrastructure is to guarantee the quality of data from on-line aerosol chemical monitors and therefore to build capacity for high-quality in situ chemical characterisation of aerosols

It provides a large set of independent co-located aerosol measurements for chemical, physical and optical parameters. It offers innovation opportunities through the exchange of information between manufacturers and users, the optimization of technological solutions, and the evaluation of new online aerosol chemical analyzers.

ACMCC is a reference for ACSM measurements in Europe (ACTRIS Research Infrastructure) and in France (LCSQA).

The centre is organized around different pillars and carries out activities related to research and innovation, training and labelisation, and the development of guidelines and tools. As part of its Calibration expertise, the centre regularly organizes intercomparison campaigns and workshops. Other services related to Data Management are proposed  in the frame of ACSM Data valorisation.
