Start of ACMCC intercomparison

We are thrilled to announce the start of our new interlaboratory comparison campaign for automatic aerosol chemical composition analyzers, an ambitious scientific project aimed at deepening our understanding of how these instruments operate. Currently in the installation phase, we are carefully setting up measurement equipment and advanced scientific instruments at the SIRTA site, a crucial step to ensure high-quality data.

Teams from LSCE, LaMP, and Ineris are working tirelessly to install the instruments, ensuring that each device is precisely configured to collect reliable data. Once this phase is complete, official measurements will begin, marking the start of an intensive observation period that will span several weeks.

This campaign is part of an international scientific collaboration, with participation from researchers from France, Germany, Switzerland, the Czech Republic, Ireland, Cyprus, and Finland. In addition to the instruments usually present on the platform, we are pleased to welcome 5 Quad-ACSMs, a ToF-ACSM, an AIR, and an HR-ToF-AMS this year—cutting-edge tools for an in-depth analysis of aerosol composition.

Follow us on our social media channels to keep up with the campaign’s progress and be among the first to learn about the results, which will be available soon!
