5th edition of interlaboratory comparison AQMNs – May 2025

Preparations are underway to install the Aerodyne Research ACSM instruments from the French regional air quality monitoring networks (AQMNs) at the ACMCC for a new intercomparison and calibration exercise.

This marks the fifth ACSM intercomparison campaign at national level in the frame of the LCSQA activities, bringing together 11 ACSMs from 7 AQMNs for a one-month benchmarking initiative.

The schedule includes:

– Week 1: Instrument setup and technical workshops in collaboration with Addair & Aerodyne Research
– Week 2: Calibration of all instruments
– Week 3: Doping tests for the first time
– Week 4: Ambient air comparison measurements

The goal is to assess the performance and functionality of ACSMs, refine operational protocols, and enhance data analysis methods across the network.

Let’s work together to strengthen the quality and consistency of air quality measurements across France!
