The ACMCC proposed and achieved the first ever intercomparison exercise for Aerosol Chemical Speciation Monitors (ACSM) within EU FP7 ACTRIS program in 2013. Since then, ACMCC has been regularly managing similar international workshops (2018, 2022, 2023, 2024, …) and became a topical centre unit of the central facility for aerosol in situ measurements within ACTRIS. Annual intercomparison campaigns are now planned in the next years to serve ACTRIS national facilities as well as ACTRIS partners and users.
The ACMCC is also hosting specific intercomparison exercises for online chemical analysers (including ACSMs) operated by the French regional air quality monitoring networks, as well as for low cost sensors in the frame of various research projects.
