The ACMCC is organizing workshops (technical and data submission workshops) and specific training sessions dedicated to measurement guidelines/SOPs, QA/QC criteria and control, as well as all basics in technical issues. These sessions are commonly organized with the instrument manufacturer and/or distributor. They notably include practical hands-on sessions, which are mainly provided during the intercomparison workshops when participants can be trained at their own instrument. As training sessions are conducted in groups, this activity is also quite fruitful to build-up networks and to enable knowledge transfer.
Furthermore, the ACMCC is providing theoretical courses on aerosol chemistry, in particular during summer school organized in the ACTRIS framework.
The ACMCC is also involved in the auditing and labelling processes of ACTRIS national facilities under the supervision of CAIS-ECAC.
